About The Role

Provide leadership, direction and drive performance excellence at Lincoln and Brigg sites, delivering against a balanced scorecard comprising Safety, People, Service, Quality, Cost & Sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • A member of UK E2E Supply Chain Senior Leadership team – influencing the wider agenda and ensuring consistency of approach / best practice development across the broader Supply Chain agenda
  • Set and lead delivery of a clear vision for the Lincolnshire Hub (Lincoln & Brigg) sites within the framework of the UK E2E Supply Chain Strategy;
  • Deliver flawlessly against the agreed safety, quality, service, health, sustainability and people commitments; UK APEX KPI’s
  • Develop the skills within the respective site teams to deliver the continuously improving standards of PepsiCo, keeping a keen eye for the development for talent that can move beyond the sites;
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, achieving above industry norms performance via compliance to internal strategy and legislative requirements. Lead the development of the safety culture on site through risk centred activity owned by the frontline employees;
  • Deliver financial AOP targets and identify above plan opportunities to deliver financial gains;
  • Drive positive employee regard, strong frontline capability and a KPI/ continuous improvement culture. Demonstrate personal leadership on the engagement agenda through delivery of inspiring employee communication and building strong involvement mechanisms;
  • The role model and enforcer of corporate standards, behaviours and values for our site employees;
  • Ensure that business change is flawlessly executed;
  • Coach and develop the senior team/direct reports to achieve their potential through effective career development discussions;

Qualifications

  • Significant Operations leadership experience, ideally including SPARK (IWS/TPM), QCDM, LEAN manufacturing;
  • Understanding of connecting functional interface (e.g. finance, logistics, quality etc);
  • Strong people leadership and coaching skills including ability to lead teams through cultural change;
  • Good communication and influencing skills – at all levels and in different geographies. Ability to connect and build strong relationship of trust with front line groups, site management team, and cross-functional contacts across UK;
  • A good listener with strong collaboration skills to drive site engagement and beyond site engagement / alignment to core change initiatives
  • Experience of financial management to enable appropriate trade off decisions;
  • Strategic thinking and ability to convert manufacturing concepts into actionable plans for the site;
  • Great analytical skills, complimented by strong soft / relationship management skills;
  • Resilient individual, with flexible, upbeat and positive attitude;
  • Is seen as role model, inspiring trust in those around them whilst promoting an environment of achievement and recognition;
  • Demonstrated drive for results and a can-do attitude. Leverages a keen understanding of key business drivers in own area to get results and facilitate change;
  • Flexible approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability to make good, balanced business decisions to meet future business and customer requirements;
