Learning Support Assistant

We have a number of schools looking to hire Teaching Assistants in roles from Nursery to Year 6 in some of the best primary schools in South Shields. There are part time, full time and long term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What you will need to succeed:

School leaders are searching for confident, adaptable and enthusiastic individuals with an interest in the education sector. Perhaps you’re an aspiring teacher, a recent graduate or an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for the perfect role to immerse yourself in: the successful candidate will have opportunities and challenges to develop their practice.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

• Have experience working as an Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2 Class Teaching Assistant or SEN TA
• Be flexible and patient
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Be able to work 8.30-4pm
