Kitchen Fitter - Social Housing
Location: Ashington and surrounding areas
Hours: 39 hours per week
Duration: Ongoing contract work - potential for up to 12 months
We are currently recruiting experienced Kitchen Fitters to join a leading social housing contractor working across tenanted properties in the Ashington area.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople seeking long-term, consistent work with a well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of complete kitchens within occupied (tenanted) social housing properties.
- Expected output of approximately one kitchen installation per day.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach when working in residents' homes.
- Adhering to all site health and safety procedures.
- Valid CSCS Card
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Face Fit Certificate (can be provided by us if required)
- Previous kitchen fitting experience, ideally within social housing or occupied properties
- Own tools essential
- Own transport essential
- 39 hours per week
- Long-term ongoing work with the potential to last up to one year
- Consistent workload
- Opportunity to work with a reputable social housing contractor
