A Day in the Life

As Deputy Business Manager for Kiehl's, you partner closely with the Business Manager to coach counter talent, drive retail performance, and champion our apothecary skincare heritage.

• Coach & Support Talent: Assist in onboarding new team members and deliver on-the-floor coaching to refine skin diagnostics, consultative storytelling, and customer service standards.
• Drive Retail Performance: Co-pilot counter retail sales targets and KPIs, monitoring performance metrics to identify revenue opportunities and resolve commercial gaps proactively.
• Elevate Customer Journeys: Ensure the counter team consistently executes the welcoming Kiehl's service model, fostering long-term loyalty with regular and VIP customers.
• Execute Retail Animations: Support the planning and delivery of engaging counter events, product launches, and sustainability initiatives, including Kiehl's recycling and refill programmes.
• Maintain Operational Excellence: Supervise daily counter merchandising standards, stock replenishment, tester hygiene, and team rotas using Tamigo and One Retail.
  
  

We Are Looking For

You bring collaborative supervisory skills, strong commercial awareness, and an authentic consultative approach to healthy skin solutions. You bring:

• Team Enablement & Coaching: Capability to guide team members, provide constructive feedback, and foster team development on the shop floor.
• Commercial Awareness: Practical understanding of retail sales KPIs, conversion drivers, and proactive strategies to hit counter targets.
• Skincare & Apothecary Expertise: Familiarity with skin barrier science, personalised regimen building, and Kiehl's brand heritage.
• Customer Relationship Management: Practical skill in cultivating customer loyalty, engaging shoppers, and delivering authentic follow-up care.
• Retail Operations: Structured approach to rotas, inventory replenishment, hygiene benchmarks, and digital retail tools.
