We're looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our Game Studio team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial experience developing in C# and .NET who's ready to take the next step in their career. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to real projects from day one and continue developing your skills in a collaborative environment.
We champion collaborative working, so this is a hybrid role with three days a week in our Sunderland office and two days working from home.

What will I be doing?
- Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.
- Build clean, scalable and well tested code.
- Help design and develop new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Take part in code reviews and team discussions.
- Work closely with Product, QA, Platform and Infrastructure teams.
- Learn new technologies and continuously develop your skills.
Essential
- Good understanding of developing in C# and .NET.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.
- AWS.
- DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Redis.
- Docker or Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipelines.
