Dermalogica UK

City: Leatherhead
Contract type: Full time
Job Description

Influencer Manager
Leatherhead (Hybrid)
Salary £33,000

Your primary focus will be building and stewarding paid and organic relationships with skin professional influencers — predominantly Medi Professional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and high-profile advanced skin therapists, facialists, and make-up artists. Secondly, you will lead two signature community programmes: the Pro Collective and the Pro Community. The Pro Community is our broader network of Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapist accounts who actively post about Dermalogica on social media. The Pro Collective is our most elite tier — the strongest content creators and highest-impact accounts selected to drive Earned Media Value (EMV) and influence the wider professional community.

Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will work in close partnership with Trade, Education, PR, Creative, Social, Ecommerce, Paid Social, and Product teams to bring long-term professional community strategies and brand campaigns to life. This is a role built on relationships, credibility, and genuine expertise — with real scope, real budget, and real impact.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in influencer, creator, or earned marketing — ideally with a strong focus on trade, professional, or B2B2C audiences within beauty, skincare, or an adjacent wellness or clinical sector.
  • A proven track record of building and nurturing meaningful influencer or KOL relationships — not just transactional campaigns — with measurable impact on brand advocacy, credibility, and community growth.
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development experience, ideally 3+ years managing direct reports.
  • Strong understanding of the UK professional skin and aesthetics landscape — including key voices, clinics, and communities across Medi Professional, advanced skin therapy, and make-up artistry.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen — able to connect professional influencer activity to brand authority, trade engagement, and broader business performance.
  • Excellent project management skills, including timeline ownership and budget management.
  • Proven experience managing external agency and vendor partnerships.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
  • In-depth platform knowledge across all major influencer channels, with a particular focus on Instagram and TikTok.

Job Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership
  • Lead the end-to-end professional influencer strategy for the UK, with primary focus on Medi Professional KOLs, advanced skin therapists, facialists, and make-up artists — spanning both paid and organic channels.
  • Continuously monitor developments in the Medi and advanced professional aesthetics space, including emerging treatments, clinical trends, and key voices, to keep Dermalogica at the forefront of professional advocacy.
  • Proactively identify and recruit new professional influencer talent — building a pipeline of credible, aligned KOLs and skin professionals who strengthen Dermalogica’s authority within the trade and Medi communities.
  • Collaborate with International Dermalogica Trade, Education, and Influencer Community Strategy teams to align professional influencer activity globally and share learnings across markets.
Paid & Organic Partnerships
  • Own and lead all paid partnership activity with professional influencers — including identifying the right KOLs and advanced professionals, negotiating deliverables and fees, and managing contract reviews with the legal team to ensure full compliance with advertising regulations.
  • Nurture ongoing organic relationships with skin professionals, creating meaningful touchpoints — from product education and early access to brand experiences — that keep Dermalogica front of mind within the professional community.
  • Audit KOL and ambassador deliverables for completion, brand standard compliance, and performance — ensuring all content meets Dermalogica’s professional and scientific positioning.
  • Act as the primary relationship owner for all professional influencer partnerships, working closely with the Trade and Education teams to ensure activity ladders up to wider brand and commercial objectives.
  • Partner with internal channel owners (social, paid media, creative, education) to maximise the reach and impact of professional influencer content — ensuring trade authority translates across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Trade team to identify and amplify professional influencer opportunities that strengthen Dermalogica’s credibility and drive advocacy within salons, clinics, and the broader professional skin community.
Budget & Reporting
  • Own, allocate, track, and report on the influencer budget with full accountability.
  • Lead KPI setting, measurement, evaluation, and reporting for all influencer activity.
  • Drive clear programme performance goals and deliver weekly, monthly, campaign, and hindsight reports to marketing stakeholders.
Pro Community & Pro Collective Programmes
  • Lead and evolve the Pro Community programme — our network of Dermalogica Professional Skin Therapist accounts who post organically about the brand on social media — creating a meaningful, well-supported community that drives consistent brand advocacy.
  • Own and develop the Pro Collective programme — Dermalogica’s curated group of the strongest content-creating professionals and highest-impact accounts — designing initiatives that drive EMV, elevate brand authority, and inspire the broader professional community to follow their lead.
  • Design and manage community engagement touchpoints for both programmes — including product gifting, educational briefings, brand events, and exclusive experiences — that deepen professional loyalty and encourage high-quality social content.
Pro Mentor Programme
  • Own and lead the Pro Mentor Programme — a signature community initiative that harnesses individual skin experts to share their knowledge and success around specific skin challenge solutions, such as sensitivity or breakouts, with a wider professional audience. Mentors may be sourced from within the existing Pro Community and Pro Collective network or recruited externally.
  • Lead the identification and selection of Pro Mentors — identifying the right voices for each skin focus area and managing ongoing relationships to ensure mentors are well-briefed, brand-aligned, and motivated to engage.
  • Plan and coordinate the programme calendar — spanning live stream webinars and in-person quarterly events — ensuring mentor activity is sequenced in alignment with broader marketing moments across both professional and consumer channels.
  • Own the end-to-end mentor briefing process — ensuring each mentor is fully prepared with clear messaging, brand guidelines, and skin challenge focus areas — and manage any associated contracting where paid or formal agreements are required.
  • Work closely with the Education team to co-develop the class structure and content framework for each mentor session — ensuring all sessions are scientifically accurate, professionally credible, and aligned to Dermalogica’s education standards.
Team Management
  • Manage 1 direct report, a Community Executive (Trade), who supports the execution of both the Pro Community and Pro Collective programmes, including gifting, engagement, and day-to-day relationship management with professional accounts.
  • Lead 1:1 development, Personal Development goal-setting, and annual review processes for your team.
  • Support new team members through onboarding and probationary periods with structured guidance.

Job Benefits

  • Private Health Care with Vitality and Medicash
  • Life insurance with Legal and General which includes – Virtual GP with Health365, wellbeing and counselling and Financial Protection.
  • A 5% pension contribution from the company as well as access to a pension’s advisor.
  • Your Birthday off work!
  • 5 paid sick days per year
  • £70 monthly product allocation
  • Access to new product innovation before they hit the shelves so that you can experience the products first-hand
