What you’ll be doing?
As one of our Receptionists, you'll often be the first and last person our guests meet, making you a key part of creating unforgettable experiences. Your warmth, professionalism and genuine care will help shape every guest's stay, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
Whether you're offering a friendly welcome at check-in, answering questions with confidence, or ensuring a seamless departure at check-out, you'll play an important role in creating those lasting first and final impressions that keep guests coming back.
But there's much more to the role than front desk duties. Working closely with colleagues across the hotel, you'll help deliver exceptional experiences behind the scenes too. From answering calls and managing reservations to allocating rooms, preparing guest bills and coordinating with other departments, you'll be organised, proactive and confident using a range of computer systems. Your attention to detail will be just as important as your people skills, ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth, personalised and memorable stay.
What you’ll need to be a Receptionist?
- To have a genuine and warm approach, with stand out people skills;
- Strong attention to detail and to be IT savvy, ensuring we ‘get it right first time’ whether that be someone’s room allocation, their bill or in just being intuitive enough to notice the details as small as what type of tea they like…
- Good communication skills, and level of English – both written and spoken;
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a ‘can do’ attitude & to love the buzz of being busy;
- Previous experience is preferred but we are more interested in your passion for great customer service and exceptional people skills
