The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
Your key responsibilities

- Be the first contact and provide a flawless welcome to our discerning guests
- Ensure that our exceptional service standards are met from arrival to set the tone of their dining experience
- Interpret, understate, and act on the needs of our guests, demonstrating discretion in your interactions and being able to communicate effectively with the team to guarantee guests' needs are met.
- Make sure the expectations of our guests are met at all times
- Act naturally in all your communications
