What You Will Do
Based Dunstable
We are seeking an experienced, proactive and qualified HGV Technician to deliver excellent maintenance and repair operations for our customer heavy goods vehicles. The successful candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong technical expertise, with a commitment to customer satisfaction. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-established organisation dedicated to excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Working 44 hours Mon-Fri 06.00 to 16.00 and 12.00 – 22.00 (1 hr unpaid lunch break) Friday’s will be 1 hour less 06.00-1500 and 12.00-21.00 - Saturday's as required
Paying up to £ 53768 pr year (to £23.50) pr hr DOE

What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with the Shift Supervisor for daily workload / tasks etc
- Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
- Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
- Complete job cards clearly and accurately
- C&G or NVQ3 HGV Technician qualification
- Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
- Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
- Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
