We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Container Day Drivers for ongoing work in Felixstowe.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to deliver goods across various routes.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to legal hours and safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting issues promptly.
- Secure cargo properly on containers for safe transport.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch teams.
- Follow road safety laws and company policies at all times.
- Assist with loading/unloading when needed, handling goods properly.
- Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs.
- Salary:** £17.00 - £21.00 per hour
- Valid driver license, driver card, and driver qualification.
- Experience with container transportation and commercial driving.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and route planning.
- Basic English skills.
- Felixstowe Rhides Card or similar certification preferred.
- Free and on-site parking.
