A Snapshot of Your Day

Leading a high-energy production shift, you’ll oversee a large team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality blade production. You’ll coordinate with Team Leaders, monitor performance against SQDCP targets, resolve operational challenges in real time, and maintain strong communication across your team. A typical day involves balancing resources, reviewing KPIs, supporting people development, and ensuring all processes—from safety compliance to blade handovers—run smoothly.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP) metrics, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement
  • Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Operatives to build a high-performing, engaged workforce
  • Ensure a strong safety culture through proactive reporting, risk assessments, and adherence to procedures
  • Optimize production flow through effective resource planning, takt adherence, and line balancing
  • Maintain high product quality by enforcing manufacturing standards and driving right-first-time performance
  • Support operational efficiency by managing budgets, improving processes, and leveraging systems like Prisma
  • Strengthen communication and teamwork, ensuring clear direction and alignment across the shift

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to solve problems in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience delivering against production plans, KPIs, and operational targets
  • A structured approach to performance management, safety, and continuous improvement (e.g., 5S, SIC, process validation)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage large teams
  • Understanding of resource management, cost control, and production processes
  • Passion for renewable energy and contributing to a sustainable future
  • Experience in wind or a similar industrial sector (desirable but not essential)
