We have exciting opportunities for Ground Investigation Technicians to join the UK’s largest and most diverse geotechnical and ground engineering contractor.

What you'll be doing:
- Getting out and about, gathering geotechnical and geoenvironmental data from a wide range of work environments across the UK.
- Support team members in the management of geotechnical project data.
- Assist with various field activities to enable the assessment and analysis of geotechnical conditions and investigations
- Playing a key role in the preparation and processing of samples for laboratory testing of soil and rock samples
- Facilitating good project management practices
- Take a proactive approach in the responsibility for Health and Safety
- Reflect and promote Van Elle company values through your work and conduct
- IT competent in Microsoft packages
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure
- Good attention to detail and accuracy of work
- Effective planning and organisation skills
- A problem-solving attitude
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and work within the relevant legal and safety regulations
- Experience in construction or other ground-related industries [preferable]
- Experience driving larger vehicles such as 4x4s and vans [preferable]
- Valid CSCS [preferable]
- Eligible to work and live in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel in the UK.
- A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (essential)
- Competitive salary depending on experience.
- Hours of work are 7.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday however flexibility is required
- 25 days holiday plus bank/public holidays.
- Permanent position
