Grants and Trusts Fundraiser - Volunteer

We are looking for a Volunteer Grants and Trusts Fundraiser to help us identify and secure funding from charitable trusts and grant-making organisations. Your support will help us access vital funding to continue providing care and protection for animals in need.

This role will help us access important funding opportunities that support our work and long-term sustainability. Successful grant applications will enable us to fund veterinary care, improve facilities, and continue providing essential support for animals in need.

The volunteer’s contribution will directly help us secure resources that allow us to expand our impact and care for more animals.

What skills are needed?

• Strong writing and research skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively
• Interest in fundraising, grant writing, or the charity sector
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• At least 3 yrs in Trusts and Foundation bid writing
  
  

Previous experience with grants or fundraising is helpful but not essential.

• Research charitable trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities that align with our work
• Help prepare and write grant applications and funding proposals
• Support the development of clear and compelling funding cases
• Assist with tracking deadlines and maintaining a list of potential funders
• Help draft impact reports or updates for funders where needed
