The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world, environmental issues, and the relationship between people and places.The Role

As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of physical and human geography.
• Plan and deliver lessons that promote enquiry, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively.
• Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support fieldwork opportunities, enrichment activities, and the wider life of the school.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.

• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to inspire and engage students from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
• High expectations of student achievement and progress.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
