What You Will Do
- Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
- Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
- Support of all programs financial aspects including financial planning (LRP, AOP, working Capital, Monthly Financial Performance Reporting, variance Analysis, Data Review and Reporting and NBI).
- Program controls such as developing estimates at complete (EACs) and execution of EVM.
- Support the development the manpower, material and other direct costs associated for Bids & Proposals using estimating and pricing tools ensuring TINA compliance where applicable.
- Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and analysing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound.
- Supporting gate reviews and audits as required.
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Part/Qualified accountant (CIMA preferred)
- Resilience and able to adapt to changes in a fast-paced growing organisation
- Commercially astute
- Proactive, analytical and inquisitive
- Attention to detail and process adherence
- Highly organised and self-motivated
- Strong customer focus, attention to detail and quality work.
- Relevant commercial/business experience in a similar defence or complex contracting environment.
- Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level.
- Experience in organising, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers.
- Experience interpreting, analysing and questioning financial data.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.
- Experience of working with SAP, Power BI, MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
