Contract type: Full time
Team Member Warehouse Operative

Location: Eurocentral

Shift: Pitman Shift 7AM-7PM

We have an opportunity for a Team Member Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse Team to support our Eurocentral site.

Finsbury Food Group is a leading specialty bakery manufacturer. We constantly raise quality and efficiency standards and build long-term relationships within the foodservice channel. Finsbury offer a wide range of bakery products and are a leading frozen supplier into the Foodservice sector.

Based at our Eurocentral site, it is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within one of the UK’s largest bakery businesses, working closely with a friendly and collaborative team both locally and at group level. The role also offers genuine opportunities for growth and long-term career development.

This is what you’ll actually do!

In this manual, fast-paced role, you’ll be at the heart of our warehouse operation, supporting the Assistant Shift Manager to keep everything running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your day will involve loading and unloading vehicles, physically handling and moving stock, and using handheld scanners to track and update materials accurately. You’ll put stock away and update locations in EFACS, pick items for work orders, and process goods from pick lists with precise, up-to-date paperwork. You’ll help maintain accurate stock levels through daily cycle counts using Infor M3 and Excel, ensuring full traceability and correct stock rotation. Throughout the shift, you’ll follow GMP and Health & Safety requirements, keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised through “clean as you go” practices. You’ll work closely with a friendly, supportive team — with plenty of opportunities to learn, develop, and progress as you grow in the role.

Ideally this is you!

  • Experience working in a manual, fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment
  • Comfortable working with numbers and completing accurate stock tasks
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible in your approach to work
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Confident using handheld scanners or warehouse systems (training provided if needed)
  • Health & Safety conscious with a commitment to safe working practices
  • Willing to adapt to different tasks and support the wider team
  • Keen to learn, develop, and grow within a supportive working environment

What's in it for you?

  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave to allow quality time with your new arrival!
  • Enhanced Pension Scheme for our employees
  • Death in Service Benefit
  • Free Employee Assistance Programme (open to colleagues and their families)
  • Retail discounts accessible via our Benefits Hub platform!
  • Company shop available at sites (heavily discounted, yummy products!)
  • Refer a Friend Scheme (up to £300 per referral – t&cs dependent)
  • Employee Recognition Awards· Extensive Learning & Development opportunities (including opportunities for sponsored professional memberships and our own in-house development course!)
  • An opportunity to be part of a fantastic, growing organisation. Head over to our LinkedIn page to find out more!

Our vision is to be the leading specialty bakery group in the UK and we want the best people in place to achieve this. Our continued success is built entirely on the talented people who work here, so employee development is important to us because everyone is a valued member of the team, and we want every individual to have the skills and capabilities to achieve both your own personal goals and our business goals. We want good people to join our company, to help our company continue to go from strength to strength. If this sounds like you, please get in contact to learn more!
