We are seeking an organised, personable Equine Insurance & Debt Administrator to join our team at Pool House Equine Vets on a part-time basis.

Pool House Equine Hospital has been a significant part of the community for many years and has been a beacon of high-quality veterinary care for our clients. Our staff are our biggest strength, alongside the fantastic facilities we have to offer. The group has specialist-trained colleagues and referral specialists in surgery, diagnostics, medicine, lameness and poor performance.

How You’ll Make a Difference

This is a varied administrative role combining insurance claims processing with debt management and general office responsibilities, helping to support both our clients and the wider practice team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and process equine insurance claims efficiently and accurately
  • Liaise with insurance companies, clients and veterinary staff
  • Manage debt administration, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up on payments
  • Maintain accurate financial and client records
  • Answer telephone calls and deal with client enquiries in a professional manner
  • Provide general administrative support to the practice

Working Pattern

This is a part-time permanent role working 35 hours per week, with shifts between 9:30am and 5:00pm.

Other requirements include:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks efficiently
  • Competence in basic IT systems and office software
  • Equine knowledge
