The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for the value‑added processes that operate across the Enterprise Systems landscape. The role ensures that end‑to‑end business flows, cross‑system interactions, and enterprise processes function cohesively and deliver consistent value. This position focuses on coordination, governance, operational alignment, and delivery orchestration across all Enterprise Systems, without owning any single platform. It ensures that the wider enterprise ecosystem behaves as a unified environment.
Responsibilities Will Include
Value Stream Ownership
- Support the end‑to‑end value‑added processes that span the Enterprise Systems environment.
- Ensure enterprise processes deliver measurable value, operate consistently, and reflect the agreed operating model.
- Maintain clarity over how information, actions, and decisions flow across systems and teams.
- Coordinate activities across all Enterprise Systems teams to ensure alignment of dependencies, sequencing, and deliverables.
- Ensure changes to any component of the Enterprise Systems ecosystem are aligned and do not negatively impact the wider value stream.
- Maintain a unified view of business rules, process connections, and cross‑system interactions.
- Lead governance for the cross‑system layer, ensuring consistent standards, controls, and operating principles are applied across all Enterprise Systems.
- Oversee the operational health of the enterprise ecosystem from an end‑to‑end perspective.
Delivery Orchestration
- Own the cross‑system backlog, focusing on improvements that increase end‑to‑end performance and process cohesion.
- Align delivery activity across Enterprise Systems teams so output contributes to enterprise‑wide value, not siloed objectives.
- Ensure work is prioritised and sequenced in a way that supports the overall Enterprise Systems roadmap.
- Act as the business‑facing owner for the enterprise value streams.
- Communicate cross‑system impacts, risks, timelines, and progress clearly and proactively.
- Support business teams in understanding how Enterprise Systems function together as a whole.
