Job Description:

In this role, you will oversee the activities of the Maintenance Engineering Department relating to electrical maintenance, breakdown response and remedial works.

Core Duties:

  • Managing teams to carry out maintenance activities, checking standards of maintenance and reactive work while coaching team members as required to deliver high levels of craftsmanship and job reporting
  • Coordinating the department workload via SAP to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Managing failure data on equipment and generating breakdown reports
  • Procure spare parts and materials that are required for work orders
  • Attending daily production meetings
  • Writing and reviewing maintenance instructions and risk assessments

Essential Skills:

  • You will have a time served Electrical apprenticeship preferably with HNC/HND qualification
  • You will have Safety Qualifications (e.g. IOSH – (or willing to work towards), Permit Writing)
  • You will have experience working with SAP or other management systems
  • You will have a 17th/18th edition Wiring Regulation qualification

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a subject matter expert supervising and line managing a team of electricians carrying out electrical maintenance activities on our Washington site.
