Take responsibility for commercial growth, analytics, optimisation, partner relationship management, and launch of new propositions
️Key Responsibilities:
- Run day-to-day performance analytics and optimisation for Gridpay and the wider portfolio.
- Manage the commercial relationship with existing integration partners: QBRs, performance reviews, escalations, renewals.
- Build the new-integration pipeline, including European expansion, growing the number of live integrations and the API fee revenue.
- Take direct responsibility for mycare product-line performance, including extended warranty scale-up and a new Home Energy Cover proposition launch.
- Support the CCO on proposition adjustments: pricing, packaging, opt-in journeys, customer comms, reward and payment design. Provide commercial input into the HEMS subscription / monetisation team effort.
Essential:
- Strong analytical capability: churn, attach rate, payback. Comfortable working directly in spreadsheets and BI tools without relying on an analyst.
- Knows how to get real value from AI and automation – effectively uses tools to speed up analysis, drafting and repetitive commercial work.
- Direct experience managing partner relationships commercially - running QBRs, escalations, renewals and negotiating commercials.
- Experience in either UK energy, flexibility, smart tariffs, DSR, EV charging, V2G, heat-pump services or comparable connected-product services, or in consumer warranty / insurance / care propositions. Experience in both is exceptional.
- Drive and adaptability over scale of prior experience. Hungry, fast learner, comfortable in ambiguity.
- Strong written and verbal communication; credible with senior internal audiences (CCO, CEO, CFO, CTO) and with external partners.
- Operating background in commercial roles where data, engineering and partners are imperfect.
- First-hand experience of GB flex and settlement mechanics: DSR, BM participation, capacity market, MHHS, dynamic tariffs.
- Connected-products or IoT experience.
- Working knowledge of consumer regulation relevant to flex and recurring revenue: Ofgem consumer protection, GDPR, advertising standards, FCA boundaries on insurance products.
- Experience scaling a small product line through to commercial responsibility.
