Customer Service Advisor

Location: Milton Keynes or Crick
This role follows a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days per week based in either our Milton Keynes or Crick office. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of their chosen location.

About the Job

We’re currently looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team and help deliver a smooth, positive experience for our customers. In this role, you’ll act as a key point of contact - resolving queries, providing the right solutions, and keeping things moving efficiently.

This opportunity would suit someone from a retail or similar customer-facing background who is ready to take the next step into an office-based role, within a stable and supportive team at the heart of the business.

What your role as a Customer Service Advisor will involve:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers, supporting queries via phone and email
  • Managing queries in line with departmental SLAs, ensuring all requests are handled within agreed timeframes
  • Issues returns and requests in line with company and vendor guidelines
  • Supporting with logistics and order-related queries, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Taking ownership of queries and seeing them through to completion
  • Working closely with other teams to find the best outcome for the customer
  • Keeping customers updated and delivering a positive, consistent experience

To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, logistics, retail or similar role
  • Experience using ticketing systems, or the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
  • Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • A willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to continuous improvements
