Contracts Manager - Commercial

Help deliver environmental and infrastructure projects that make a real difference.

We're looking for a commercially minded Contracts Manager with practical NEC contract experience to support the procurement, delivery and management of major environmental and infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and technical specialists, providing clear commercial advice and ensuring contracts are robust, compliant and deliver value for money.

What you'll do

• Draft, review and manage NEC4 PSC and ECC contracts
• Support procurement, tendering and contract award processes
• Advise on contractual risk, change and compensation events
• Build positive supplier relationships while protecting public value
• Help improve commercial standards, templates and guidance

What we're looking for

• Experience of drafting, administering or managing NEC contracts, particularly NEC4 PSC or ECC
• Strong commercial judgement and contract management skills
• Experience supporting procurement and tender evaluations
• Ability to explain complex contractual issues clearly to non-commercial colleagues
• A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills

You don't need a specific qualification, sector background or NEC accreditation. We're interested in your practical NEC experience and your ability to apply it effectively.

Location: Hybrid working, averaging 2 days per week in our Mansfield office.
