Key Responsibilities
Client Care
- Deliver care in line with best practice, legislative requirements, and company policies.
- Support clients to maintain personal skills, hobbies, and independence.
- Follow individual Care Plans and report any changes in client needs to Senior Carers, Nurses, or Managers.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of all clients.
- Encourage clients’ connections with family, friends, and the local community.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Communicate effectively to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
- Support clients’ relationships with people important to them, if desired.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities.
- Act as a role model for other carers and demonstrate professional, polite, and reasonable conduct at all times.
- Work in accordance with Fundamental Standards and regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.
- Attend statutory and additional training as required.
- Commit to achieving relevant qualifications for the role.
- Follow company policies and procedures while remaining open to learning opportunities.
