About the Role
As a College Residential Team Leader, you will:
- Be the first-line manager, motivating, inspiring, and supporting the Residential Care team to deliver high-quality care.
- Be hands-on and lead by example , working alongside your team to provide direct care and support to young people. This includes supporting with daily routines, activities, and personal care, ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards are maintained at all times.
- Encourage and organise meaningful evening activities, from swimming and social clubs to community outings.
- Lead the planning and coordination of staffing, day-to-day activities, and larger events such as holidays, festivals, and parties.
- Support young people in a person-centred way, helping them make their own decisions and reach their full potential.
- Conduct supervisions, support the onboarding of new employees, and contribute to continuous service improvements.
We will support you every step of the way, offering a comprehensive induction and training programme to ensure you fully understand your role and the impact you’ll have on our young people’s lives. You’ll also have ongoing support from our Residential Support Manager and Head of Care.

- Can confidently lead a close-knit team while maintaining a supportive and inspiring environment.
- Is motivated to continuously improve and develop their leadership skills.
Working Pattern
- Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 10:30 pm (26 hours per week)
- Term-time only (38 weeks per year)
