About UOE
UOE is a fast-growing, award-winning, independent retailer offering stationery, gifting, printing and Post Office services across London and the Home Counties. We have scaled from 8 locations to over 40 within the last 7 months and we know that great retail can only be delivered by brilliant people who care.

We’re on a mission to prove that high street retail still matters and we’re backing that with bold growth, serious investment, and an entrepreneurial team who are in it to win it.

If you’re ready to lead from the front, drive results, and ensure an amazing experience for the 9 million customers we’ll serve in 2026, this is the role you’ve been looking for.

The Role
As a Cluster Manager at UOE, you’ll take full accountability for the commercial and operational performance of an assigned group of 8–12 branches. This role focuses on delivering results across both our retail and Post Office services by leading, coaching and supporting our in-store Team Leaders and their teams.

You’ll be the key driver of performance standards, people development, and customer experience in your cluster, ensuring each branch consistently reflects UOE’s values and delivers on its potential.

  • Customer Experience: Champion excellent service and consistent retail standards in every location.

  • Operational Consistency: Ensure Post Office compliance and operational policies are followed at branch level.

  • Talent Development: Spot potential, support career growth, and help Team Leaders become more effective leaders.

  • Commercial Insight: Use data and field visits to identify opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and improve results.

  • Connector Role: Act as the key bridge between the Store Support Team and the branches, ensuring clear communication and smooth execution of plans.

  • Standards & Compliance: Uphold high standards in every branch, ensuring adherence to health & safety, operational processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience managing multiple sites or teams in a retail or service-led environment

  • A strong track record of developing people and improving performance

  • Highly organised, action-oriented, and commercially aware

  • A great communicator and motivator who leads by example

  • Comfortable with regular travel between branches and confident working autonomously

  • Knowledge of Post Office systems and processes is preferred but not essential—full training will be provided

Why Join UOE?

  • Be part of a values-driven business with ambition, momentum, and a unique retail model with a strong commercial focus and social purpose.
