We have permanent, full or part time opportunities for Health care Assistants to join our dedicated and dynamic team on ward 5, Surgical Day Case Unit and Surgical Treatment Unit. The majority of our patients are undergoing elective surgical procedures, however, we also care for those requiring emergency surgery. The ideal candidate would be expected to deliver the highest standards of care to our patients and have a keen interest in falls prevention, nutrition and hydration and maintaining safety both pre and post operatively.

Hours per week: 37.5, Part time hours available

This role will have development opportunities to progress to Band 3.

The role of the Clinical Support Worker is to work under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse to provide the highest possible standard of essentially care for patients and their family’s carer.

The postholder will work under the direction of the Registered nurse to Provide and deliver a high standard of compassionate personal care recognising and meeting the specific needs of the patients, they will assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual programmes of care for patient.

The post holder will be required to participate in a 24-hour shift pattern and possible rotation between wards within their speciality
