About The Role
Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including
- Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting operational floors and cleaning postal internal frames
- Cleaning toilets, floors, staircases, and offices
- Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
- The candidate should be physically fit, as the size of the building requires a significant amount of walking.
- Warehouse experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
- Must have the ability to read and follow written instructions as well as verbal instructions.
- This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
- We’re looking for someone who is:
- Able to work independently and manage their own time
- Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
- Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- The candidate should be physically fit, as the size of the building requires a significant amount of walking.
- Warehouse experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
- Must have the ability to read and follow written instructions as well as verbal instructions.
- Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
- 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service (plus bank holidays)
