Our civil engineering team are seeking e xpressions of interest from Civil, Senior, Principal and Senior Principal Civil Engineers to deliver innovative and exciting projects in the water sector . We are looking for talented individuals across any of our water office locations across the UK.

Stantec have been successful across the UK in being awarded places on a number of exciting framework contracts with UK water companies , and are at the forefront of delivering a challenging AMP8 programme. Our appointments include strategic support across project lifecycles, from asset management and strategy, to feasibility and conceptual design, through to outline design and detailed design within design and build partnerships. Our civil engineers are involved in defining and designing solutions to meet drinking water quality regulations against a backdrop of climate change, resource and catchment management , evolving water supply regulations , community growth and development and the maintenance of critical infrastructure. We are working closely with clients to address water scarcity, including innovative technologies and large-scale national infrastructure.
If you have experience in the design and specification of water infrastructure, pipelines, water treatment facilities and service reservoirs, we would like to hear from you. Our teams cover the full spectrum of projects across the sectors within drinking water at all levels and in all stages of design. Working with specialists in pipeline technology, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering , digital design and beyond, our civil engineers are at the heart of our projects, co-ordinating and delivering at pace within collaborative and exciting environ ments.

About You
You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering. Ideally, you will be Chartered and be a member of a relevant engineering institution.
Preferred
Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred.
Drawing from your civil engineering experience in the water industry, you will, as part of a team, develop solutions from needs identification and feasibility, through to outline and detailed design. You will have the ability to collaborate with other disciplines and have experience in supporting and leading other civil engineers. You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and completing design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.
