Within This Role The Successful Candidate Will
- Driving/operating of safety/camera (adapted) vehicle for enforcement of parking regulations throughout the city. I.e. Schools &bus stops
- Responsible for all on and off-street parking enforcement throughout the city and council car parks, during prescribed hours, in accordance with the Traffic Management Act 2004 and as directed by the Civil Enforcement Supervisor
- Undertake beats and patrols, and complete log books and hand held computers as directed by the Civil Enforcement Supervisor
- Cone off sections of highway and / or parking bays and assist with the installation or removal of parking area signs and notices, including placing „No Waiting‟ cones as directed by the Civil Enforcement Supervisor
- Undertake any training and development as identified as part of individual appraisals and / or as directed by the Civil Enforcement Supervisors, including regular refresher training.
- Provide help and advice to the public and be an ambassador for the council as part of a high profile uniformed public service providing customers with courteous help and advice
- To drive all parking unit fleet vehicles
