As a Catering Assistant at Daytona Sandown Park, you'll support food preparation, food service and customer service operations during our racing events. Working as part of a busy catering team, you'll help deliver high-quality food, maintain excellent food hygiene standards and create a positive customer experience.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the catering operation, helping prepare and serve food, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure customers receive efficient and friendly service.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with business requirements
  • Serve customers efficiently and provide a friendly, professional service
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
  • Support stock control, storage, and rotation of ingredients
  • Assist with keeping kitchen and service areas organised and well maintained
  • Work closely with the wider team to support events and busy periods
  • Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role (desirable)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • Food hygiene knowledge or certification (preferred but not essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
