LOCATION: Shireland CBSO Academy

SALARY: Band C £25,584 - £26,824 per annum pro rata (Actual salary £23,320 - £24,451)

HOURS: 37 hours per week, Term Time + 2 weeks

CONTRACT: Permanent

REQUIRED FOR: September 2026

At Shireland CBSO Academy, we are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Careers and Work Experience Coordinator.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery and coordination of a high-quality Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme. You will support students in accessing meaningful employer encounters and work experience opportunities that prepare them for their future pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the annual calendar of careers events including employer encounters, workshops, assemblies and visits.
  • Support booking speakers, venues, transport and resources.
  • Coordinate work experience placements and liaise with employers, parents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student participation and destinations.
  • Promote careers opportunities through communication and marketing.
  • Provide administrative support across the school where required.

Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage deadlines and workload effectively
  • Commitment to safeguarding and working with young people
