About The Role

In this role you will work closely with business stakeholders and the engineering team to deliver high quality software solutions that meet a defined business need. This role is key to “bridging the gap” between our operational and engineering teams improving communication, relationships and ensuring our solutions meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with stakeholders and business users to define root causes of business problems and help shape the business objectives and scope for change.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering for technology projects. Working with stakeholders and business users to elicit, analyse, develop, refine, communicate, and document requirements for change.
  • Translate business requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories with acceptance criteria within a PBI.
  • Support stakeholders in defining requirements and work inside the engineering teams to deliver solutions.
  • Represent the customer within the delivery teams throughout the project.
  • Ensure business value is present within all work conducted with clear measurement for success.
  • Provide analysis in the definition and validation of technical solutions.
  • Working with the engineering team to define acceptance criteria and plan testing.
  • Continuously look to improve communication and relationships between stakeholders and the engineering teams.
  • Product Owner and CTO are clear on status of delivery.
  • Team members see you as a ‘go to’ person for support.
  • Be a contributor to the creation of best practices.
  • Coordinate &/or support UAT with business users

KPIs & Deliverables

  • Ensure the output from the team solves for the problem intended and can be

measured.

  • Success of change is measured and presented back to the project team.
  • You’ve been part of the design process and feel ownership of change.
  • The solution is monitored and maintained.
  • Technical configuration of key software applications. (Implementing technical

change through configuration where applicable to skill set)

Qualifications

  • Any associated BA certification would be advantageous.
  • Around 4 or 5 years of industry experience in a product team delivering software.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of the development life cycle.
  • Technical documentation e.g. Process modelling, workflows, diagrams
  • Understanding APIs, data flows, system integrations.
  • Data Mapping

Desired

  • SQL (where required)
  • Reporting (where required)
  • Data Analysis (where required)
  • Ability to work with other software applications e.g. Hotjar, Tag Manager etc

Non-Technical Skills

  • Analytical mindset & great at problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of requirements engineering
  • Ability to take lead and manage projects through to completion.
  • Collaborates well in a team environment.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Excellent at building working relationships with both the technical team and

business stakeholders.

  • Excellent communicator across all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent active listener
  • Ability to adapt communication style and methods dependant on audience
  • Passionate about continuous improvement
  • Willingness to learn and grown, and support others to do the same.
  • Confidence to speak in front of people and produce useful and concise

documentation as necessary.

  • A desire to learn new techniques and trends and apply them within our business

  • Knowledge of and experience working within agile methodologies inside in-house engineering teams.
