We’re looking for an experienced Brand Design Manager to lead and elevate our brand creative across channels. This role is for a all rounded brand designer who can confidently adapt across disciplines. You will work closely with the Senior Design Team Lead, Marketing, Product and Buying teams where you’ll create impactful, commercially aligned visuals that connect with customers and enhance brand perception.

Main Responsibilities for Brand Design Manager Roles

  • Ensuring design consistency across Bensons, eveSleep, Staples & Co, Simply and Slumberland
  • Developing visual identity across all touchpoints - print, in store and digital
  • Building/developing the guidelines for all four brands, from logos, typography, and colour palettes to guidelines and layout systems.
  • Ensuring best practice is used across all touchpoints
  • Produce and supply assets across all media and communication platforms
  • Work with product and marketing teams to ensure brand reinforcement
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintain an understanding of competitor branding and design trends within the home and lifestyle sectors.
  • Contribute to brand development projects such as visual refreshes, redesigns, or new brand launches.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and printers to ensure final artwork meets production standards and sustainability requirements.
  • Translate trend insights and customer research into relevant, contemporary design concepts.
  • Design creative promotional assets across all media platforms, including: digital communications, website, collateral, paid socials and animations.
  • Support the creation of campaign visuals, digital assets, email graphics, and web banners that align with own-brand tone and positioning.

Brand Design Manager Skills and Experience Required

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication.
  • Proven experience in a graphic design role — ideally within retail or consumer brands.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent brand identity.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and confident creating production-ready artwork.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, typography, and layout.
  • Understanding of packaging processes, print finishes, and sustainable materials.
  • A collaborative team player who can also take ownership of projects and drive them forward.
  • Passionate about design, interiors, and creating engaging, customer-focused brand experiences.

Working Hours and Location

  • Full-time role; typical working hours Mon–Fri with occasional early starts or later finishes for campaign launches
  • Office-based at one of our sites with good transport links; occasional hybrid working for administrative tasks may be available, subject to line manager agreement
