Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger)

The role of Accounts Assistant:

• Ensuring everything dispatched is included in the daily invoice run
• Raising and issuing manual sales invoices and credit notes
• Preparing the monthly customer statement run
• Providing timely and accurate responses to internal and external customer queries
• Posting and allocating customer payments and refunds
• Reconciling Accounts Receivable subledger to the General Ledger
• Supporting audits and month-end close activities

The ideal Accounts Assistant:

• Previous accounts and sales ledger experience required
• Clear professional communication skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Competence in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience of multi-currency, VAT legislation, and export documentation desirable
