We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Corporate team, someone passionate about delivering excellent service, building strong client relationships, and taking a proactive, advisory approach. This role offers the opportunity to manage and develop an established book of business made up of long-standing clients, with strong support and regular face-to-face engagement.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, based in our Maidstone office, with travel required to meet clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an established book of business, strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for organic growth

  • Lead renewal activity, ensuring a smooth and well-planned process that delivers the best outcomes for clients

  • Understand client requirements and present risks effectively to the market

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing clear, timely guidance and resolving queries

  • Prepare high-quality market presentations, documentation, and submissions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and key stakeholders

  • Monitor market trends and gather insight to support client solutions and proposition development

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing commercial clients, with a focus on retaining and developing a book of business through trusted, long-term relationships

  • Confident communicator, able to build credibility and engage effectively with clients, insurers, and colleagues

  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts

  • Highly organised, able to manage priorities and oversee renewal activity effectively

  • Analytical with strong attention to detail, ensuring consistently high-quality output

  • Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach

  • Collaborative in style, working closely with colleagues and insurer partners to deliver the best outcomes

  • Able to travel and meet with clients in person

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)

  • A Levels (or equivalent) – desirable

  • Dip CII – desirable
